You are probably wondering why there’s another photography contest. Well we all like contests and there are mainly two reasons why we attend them.
First is to show our photographs and get some feedback. But let’s be honest – if all we wanted to do was show our work, we would use online galleries or sites like Flickr and Facebook. And that brings us to the second reason.
Probably even bigger reason to enter a contest is – prizes! There are all sorts of prizes out there. Discounts, coupons, items, money prizes… you name it. But there are usually some sorts of limitations involved as well. Like items being shipped only to some countries or discounts available only at a local shop. How is a 70% discount in a shop somewhere in Europe with no online store going to help someone from the USA? Not much, that’s for sure.
Money prizes sound much better. However the downside is the fixed amount that usually isn’t very high. And that is the main reason to enter Worldwide Prize Money Photo Contest. Entry fee from all photographs is put into one big pile and a very small amount is taken away for the expenses (PayPal fees and hosting service). The rest is the prize money. That’s right, we’re not keeping anything for ourselves and every single cent is divided into prizes.
So in Worldwide Prize Money Photo Contest the saying ‘The more, the merrier’ really is true!
