Canon India photo contest 2011Participate in the canon India Photo Marathon contest,Winner will get and canon 600D digital camera and many more prizes,

The last date for submitting the entries, for the contest, on the website is 15th September 2011. The entries registered for participation in the contest would be given a registration number by Canon for all future references, through an email.

In order to participate in the contest, the registered participants would be required to visit the venue of the contest on the date and time as communicated by Canon by email.

The registered participants would be given three themes on the spot (one by one) on the date of the contest along with the timeframe to capture the photograph according to the theme and submit the same with Canon at the designated place.

Eligibility: Contest open to Indian citizen only, The Contest is open to all the users of Digital Cameras / SLRs who would be required to capture theme related photographs through their Digital Cameras / SLRs on the date and venue of the contest within specified timelines.

Prizes: Grand prize: Photo clinic tour to Tasmania, Australia for top 2 winners
2nd prize winner: Wins the EOS 600D ( 18-55mm lens kit )
3rd prize winner: Wins the EOS 550D ( 18-55mm lens kit)
4th prize winner: Wins the EOS 1100D (18-55mm IS lens kit)


The inaugural Canon PhotoMarathon India would be held on the following dates & locations,

Sunday, 18th September 2011 : Delhi
Kalka Public School, Alaknanda, New Delhi
Sunday, 18th September 2011 : Mumbai
St. Xavier’s College, Mahapalika Road, Mumbai
Sunday, 18th September 2011 : Bangalore
St Joseph’s Indian High School, Vittal Malya Road, Bangaluru

: The Participants unconditionally and irrevocably grants / assigns to Canon the copyright of the photograph submitted for the Photo contest and which shall be used by Canon for its future marketing activities. In case the photograph is of an individual, then such photograph will be accepted for the photo contest only when the participants will provide the consent / NOC letter from such an individual for the use of his/her photograph by Canon for Canon’s future marketing activities as well as the document for transfer of the copyright in such photograph in favour of Canon. In case of any third party claim against Canon including on account of any third party IPR violation, the Participant will indemnify Canon for the same.
