Prizes: A Wildlife Tracking Weekend For 2 courtesy of Woodland Ways Bushcraft & Survival School. (If the winner lives outside the UK and is unable to attend the Wildlife Tracking Weekend we will endeavour to offer an alternative prize.)
There are no specific subject categories but here’s a few ideas of the type of subjects we are looking for…..
Birds – Usually the most popular subjects. Can you come up with something a little different though?
Mammals – Always generates a huge amount of entries and usually some stunning images!
Reptiles and Amphibians – Sometimes a little harder to find, but doesn’t that make it all the more rewarding when you get the shot?!
Insects and Bugs – The weird and the wonderful – maybe a good time to try that new macro lens?!
Marine Life – Above or below the waves there are some magical sights to see and capture.
Landcapes – Urban or natural, as long as it contains wildlife or fauna of some description.
Copyright and usage right: By entering your photograph into the competition, you grant to Wildlife Whisperer the non-commercial non-exclusive right to use your images for promotion of the Wildlife Whisperer online photo competition and for promotion of Wildlife Whisperer in any media. Should Wildlife Whisperer want to use awarded images for commercial publications, this will only be done with prior written consent by the photographer and for a reproduction fee. The photographer will be credited whenever possible.
Closing date for entries is Thursday 12th April 2012. The winner will be announced Tuesday 1st May 2012.
