The Chelsea International Photography Competition (CIPC) opens July 18.

In its inaugural year, The CIPC’s distinguished panel of jurors will select photographers and award them with the opportunity to present their work in an exhibition at Agora Gallery. The competition is an excellent opportunity for photographers seeking the possibility of national and international acclaim.

The Chelsea International Photography Competition will be accepting entries from July 18 – September 13, 2017, with results announced on October 24, 2017.

Eligibility: Open to Worldwide

Entry Fee: Amateur Photography: Entry fee of $25 for up to 5 images in this category with a fee of $5 for each additional image. Professional Photography: Entry fee of $45 for up to 5 images in this category with a fee of $5 for each additional image.

Prizes: The work of twenty (20) amateur photographers will be selected. Each photographer will exhibit one photograph, to be printed and mounted by Agora Gallery. The Gallery will also cover the cost of return shipping to photographers. Selected photographers in the Amateur category will have no other expenses beyond the entry fee. In addition, all photographs submitted by the selected photographers will be displayed on our website for one year.

The work of ten (10) proffesional photographers will be selected and each will be allocated up to 15 linear feet of gallery wall space in the exhibition. A $500 cash prize will be awarded to each of the selected professional photographers.

Copyright: All of the images submitted are original works of art created by you or are photographs created by an artist who authorized you to submit the images on his or her behalf. Images submitted by you do not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyright or other intellectual property rights of any person or entity. You may not post, distribute, or reproduce, in any way, any copyrighted material, trademarks, or other proprietary information without obtaining the prior written consent of the owner of such proprietary rights. Without limiting our rights, it is our policy to terminate all relations with any artist who infringes copyrights upon our receipt of notice of infringement from the copyright owner or the copyright owner’s legal counsel.

Usage Right: Agora Gallery has the right to publish the images selected by the jurors on our websites and other advertising channels to promote your photographs and future competitions.
