The artists who will be chosen to participate in the exhibition and be presented at the web page of Blank Wall Gallery, will have to pay the amount of €35, if their photo is printed, and €15 if their work is displayed on the digital screen.

Open Call for Participation in the 7th International Photography Festival

RAEL invites artists to submit proposals for participation in the thematic exhibition or as special projects at the 7th International Photography Festival, taking place in Tel Aviv in November 2019.
This year’s topic will be: Fantasy – Between Reality and Imagination

British Wildlife Photography Awards

To mark our tenth anniversary and help raise awareness about our coast; its incredible biodiversity and the threats it is facing we have expanded the Coast and Marine category to include British and Irish Coastlines within four separate categories; Wales, Scotland, England, and Northern Ireland & the Coast of Ireland.

The competition is open to anyone except those directly involved in the organisation and judging (including their families and relatives).

By entering the competition, you grant BWPA and its sponsors and supporters a non-exclusive, irrevocable licence to reproduce, enlarge, publish or exhibit, on any media, the images for any purpose directly connected with the competition. This may include, but is not limited to: inclusion in a book of winning and commended images; display at exhibitions; display on a web browser for judging purposes; on the BWPA website and on the websites of sponsors and supporters; on social media used by BWPA, its sponsors and supporters; for use in releases to be distributed to national, regional & specialist press and other media giving information about or promoting the competition.

Entrants agree that the organisers can sub-license images to the media for reproduction in connection with the competition and exhibition only.

1 Marzena Kolarz – Chairwoman of the Jury, In 2007 she graduated with honors from the Faculty of Multimedia Communication at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań, and from 2015 a PhD student at the Faculty of Arts in Krakow. Multiple curator and exhibition organizer and juror in photo contests. Scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, Has several dozens of awards and distinctions in national and international competitions, including: 1st place in the XIX International Cyberfoto Competition,
2 Aneta Mudyna – A member of the Association of the Myślenice Photographic Group mgFoto, she has the title of Artist Photographer granted by the Photoclub of the Republic of Poland, of which she is a member. Associated with the Pictorial Team, and the National Photographic Creative Group – AF13. A graduate of numerous courses, photo workshops and open air exhibitions conducted by the best in the field. She participated in the Festival of Photography in Paris.
3 Bogdan Frymorgen – He studied English at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow.
He worked for the BBC World Service for twenty-four years. Now, live in London.
He is a British correspondent of Radio RMF FM. He works with many institutions
cultural in Poland. Publisher, author of books, photo exhibitions and curator. Member of the Polish Union
Artists Photographers ZPAF. A member of the supervisory board of the Galicia Jewish Museum in Krakow.
4 Dariusz Kobylański – Graduate of journalism, publisher, photographer, editor and graphic designer. He prepared graphically and editorial over 200 publications related to Tarnow and Małopolska. Publisher of several photo albums about the region. In the years 1992-2002 he worked as a photographer at the Regional Museum in Tarnów. A member of the Tarnow Photographic Society TTF since 1986 – currently the vice-president of TTF. He has a bronze badge of the Polish Federation of Photographic Associations and the title of Artiste FIAP (AFIAP).
5. Ana Valente – a guest from abroad, Portugal. Lawyer for 36 years. A completely passionate for photography. She is part of several photography groups, in which she has recieved several awards. Administrator in WORLD IN B&W and PENTAPRISMA CLICK for a few years. More of 20 of her photos made the Photo Gallery of the February issue of WONDER GO MAGAZINE of February 2018. Her first photo exhibition will take place next April, at Amarante, Portugal.

Monochrome photography has always been one of the most beloved genders of photography. It has never been considered as old fashioned. It is a different angle of viewing and presenting images and for some photographers this was their main motive to start taking photographs. The existence of only one color functions as an incentive that unlocks feelings and leads viewers to new paths of realization.
All Monochrome photographs taken with film of digital camera by both amateur and professional photographers can take part in the “Monochrome” contest.
